Sausage and Goat Cheese Crostini

Spicy sausage and goat cheese appetizer that is on French bread toasts with pickled onions. Great for a party or with a glass of wine.

  • 3 Spicy Italian Sausages cooked
  • 12 french bread crostini
  • 4 oz log of goat cheese softened
  • ½ cup pickled onions
  • Dijon mustard optional


  1. Slice the sausage on the diagonal so you can get it close in size to the toast.
  2. On each crostini put a schmear of goat cheese, a slice of sausage, and top with a tangle of pickled onions.
  3. Serve with Dijon mustard on the side. The appetizer goes nicely with French pickles and grapes.
