Sausage and Goat Cheese Crostini
Spicy sausage and goat cheese appetizer that is on French bread toasts with pickled onions. Great for a party or with a glass of wine.

log of goat cheese

pickled onions

Dijon mustard
optional

Slice the sausage on the diagonal so you can get it close in size to the toast.

On each crostini put a schmear of goat cheese, a slice of sausage, and top with a tangle of pickled onions.

Serve with Dijon mustard on the side. The appetizer goes nicely with French pickles and grapes.
